Leviathan — The Demon of Envy
Envy is the scent of desire hidden so deeply that one hesitates to admit it exists at all. Leviathan is neither loud nor aggressive; it does not seek attention. Instead, it refuses to let the mind rest, lingering like a quiet whisper of longing. This demon never rushes. It gnaws slowly, patiently, giving rise to feelings one cannot name — only feel.
The fragrance opens with the fresh, juicy brightness of apple and mandarin orange. Friendly and luminous, the notes feel like a first smile — warm and harmless — yet beneath that softness lies a quiet yearning to possess, to become, long before the wearer acknowledges it.
At the heart, jasmine and mimosa unfold in soft, velvety layers, floral notes that evoke fragility and tenderness. They draw the wearer inward, gently awakening subtle comparisons — of self, of others, of what one wishes they could be.
As the scent settles, its true direction begins to emerge. Cedarwood, patchouli, and animalic notes introduce depth, tension, and an undercurrent of unease. Damp earth, dry wood, and raw instinct rise to the surface — here is the moment Leviathan reveals itself.
Dry amber closes the composition with no comfort and no warmth, only a parched, lingering heat beneath the skin. It is the weight of emotion held back, pressure that never erupts yet never dissolves.
Leviathan is envy made scent — subtle, haunting, and impossible to escape.
